missin' your sweet little words

Just the thought of you makes me wanna cry. My deep well of tears would probably run dry knowing you'll be gone even just for a while.
You know, you showed me just how easy love could be, how silly and painful, how fun and forgiving. You showed it with pride and very gracefully..

Everyone's gonna leave their love sometime, like seeds needs to hide beneath the soil before it shows itself to the world. Or like a butterfly who needs to indulge itself
into eternal darkness before roaming the world with it's beauty. Everyone's gotta leave their love sometime.If not now, then at the end of your lifetime.

But then, you'll be waiting at my bed I know... And your last little words will be 'i love you so'...

Add custom filters and validators on zend framework

There are a lot of ways to add a custom filter or validator in the zend workspace. Well, to make it simple, you can add specific custom filters or validators on a certain element.

Here's a simple code sets :

First : Create your filters and validators on your library.

mylib->custom->filters
mylib->custom->validators

Second : Open a certain form that will use the your custom filter or validator.
Third : Add the prefix path on the specific element that needs the said filter by :

$this->getElement('elementName')
->addPrefixPath('mylib_custom_validator', 'mylib/custom/validator/', Zend_Form_Element::VALIDATE);
->addPrefixPath('mylib_custom_filter', 'mylib/custom/filter/', Zend_Form_Element::FILTER);

Simple stuffs.. Just to be reminded.. :D

magento admin log in issue

It took me awhile to figure out an issue regarding the backend part of magento. I've installed magento 1.3 on a linux ubuntu 8.10 environment. Everything went nice until the admin log in part. Well, nothing happend after logging in the admin panel. I've tried lower versions of the magento installer but without any success... I tried to read some forums and saw the answer. It was about the naming of the host. It would not work if a dot is not present. Such a very simple issue that i've learned the hard way. For example, http://magento will have an issue, so add something like http://magento.linux etc on the name for it to work properly.

Gravity

Back when I was a kid i always want to fly. Like normal kids, my no.1 hero was superman. The man of steel. I like the part where he flew out in the outer space and made the earth spin the other way around just to save his love one. After a few years, my dream was slightly changed. It still have the same idea as flying but not literally flying such as having a blue cape and venturing around the world with a bold letter "S" in my chest. It is about being successful in life and in my career. I am not a movie star nor a politician. I am a simple construction worker. The pyramids of egypt and the great walls of china are just a few of my projects. At some point, i was able to lift my feet from the ground. Maybe around an inch or so. The cool part is that i am slowly learning how to fly. The bad part is that we are in this big ball of floating mass that is called earth which has a thing called gravity. It sucks when you feel the sensation of floating and after a while it drastically pulls you back. The higher you go the harder you fall. This is a known truth, a law actually. It states that everything that goes up must come down. I believe the idea and also understand it. The thing that confuses me is that why amidst this fact, i still want to fly. No matter how hard or how painful, i will still fly. But unlike before, i am a little bit wiser now. I am formulating a bunch of techniques not to fight gravity, but to cope up with it. So far, i have two things in my sleeves. First, anyone can fulfill their dreams of flying with his feet on the ground while soaring high in the sky. Second idea, its a bit tricky but it surely works, before flying 20 miles above the ground, be sure to have a soft couch to land on!
